Condolences to the Family, Friends, and Comrades of the following Americans who lost their lives while in the pursuit of gaining freedom for others.
May God hold them in his hands and may their families carry them forever in their hearts.

US Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Mitchell K. Carver, Jr., 31, of Charlotte, N.C., and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Kyle E. Jackson, of Sarasota, Fla., died near Al Sukar, Iraq, on Jan. 13, when their OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopter came under attack by enemy forces using small arms fire. Both soldiers were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.
Check out a GREAT post at Blackfive by the escort who brought them home.
Rest in Peace Chief Carver and Chief Jackson. And to Chief Torney, Thank you for sharing this experience. I wish I could have seen the Honor Guard in action. HOOAH!!!
