Veterans Day is a time of reflection. It is a time say “Thank You” to the people who served and sacrificed as members of the United States military. It is a time to thank them for that service.
From the battles of Lexington and Concord to the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, we, the United States of America, have always had a strong core of people who were willing to serve, fight, and even die for their country. This is most honorable.
It makes no difference whether these dedicated men and women served as cooks, medics, infantry, artillery or any number of Military Specialties. It makes no difference whether they were experts with a rifle, musical instrument or a computer network system. What makes a difference is their selfless service to our country. That is something to appreciate and recognize - yesterday, today and every day.
