Actress Deborah Kerr Dies at age 86

Mention such great movies as From Here to Eternity, The King and I, An Affair to Remember and The Night of the Iguana and some of us immediately remember this vibrant woman.

She brought life to every role she played and will be missed in the Hollywood circles.

She was nominated numerus time for best actress, but never received the Academy Award. In 1994 she was presented an Honorary Oscar. She was recognized for her distinguished career as an “”artist of impeccable grace and beauty, a dedicated actress whose motion picture career has always stood for perfection, discipline and elegance.”

She died Tuesday in Suffolk, Eastern England. She had been suffering from Parkison’s disease.

Rest well Ms Kerr. You were a treasure and I, for one, will certainly enjoy watching your old films again and again.
