Liquid explosives.
Carry-on baggage.
A terrorist plot foiled.

(via xpol)

So what is going on the this picture. If these liquids were indeed explosive, would there be more caution used in the disposal process? Why would anyone, any agency be so stupid as to allow the dumping of potentially explosive liquids into trash containers in the middle of a crowded airport? Where are the EOD teams? Oh, TSA has everything under control. Now I have another reason for not wanting to fly.

“Because the plot involved taking liquid explosives aboard planes in carry-ons, passengers at all U.S. and British airports, and those boarding U.S.-bound flights at other international airports, are banned from taking any liquids onto planes.”

  1. Typical - “surface” procedures! No one thinks past their horn rims - just so it “looks” like you’re doing something. Kinda like the “surface” minimum wage that’s us unable to compete in the world market and no one has any more spending power. (for six months - minimum wage employees can buy one more tank of gas each month - then it’s worthless as prices and OTHER wages increase!)
