The Department of Defense announced the following death:
US Army — DoD Release #894-08: —Enduring Freedom
Capt. Robert D. Lindenau, 39, of Camano Island, Wash., died Oct. 20 in Charbagh, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his vehicle. He was assigned to the 91st Civil Affairs Battalion, 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne), Fort Bragg, N.C.
